Local Development Research and Advocacy Trust (LODRAT) is an organization formed against the backdrop of an ever-increasing need for evidence-based solutions to problems facing our communities. Formed by academics, legal experts, development practitioners and human rights activists, LODRAT deals with a diversity of issues that local communities face. At LODRAT we value synergies with civil society, academic institutions, and independent researchers in our bid to address problems that communities face. LODRAT advocates for indigenous sustainable solutions to the socio-economic, environmental, health, political and development issues facing our communities. We have a team of highly qualified experts in research, advocacy and training whose skills and knowledge are a driving force in finding solution to common problems.
