We have expertise in carrying out research in a wide range of areas which include governance, health, environment, and development issues.
Health and wellbeing issues affect day to day lives of people across the world. Our team has been undertaking research and community engagement in the social dynamics of health in our contemporary societies.
We offer support to central and local governments on governance processes. Our team has experience in developing policies and systems that foster participation and involvement of young people, women, PWD, ratepayers and citizens.
At LODRAT we conduct research which promotes the sustainable use and management of land, energy and water resources in communities. We advocate for environmental justice in disadvantaged and vulnerable communities.
Development is people-centred and multidimensional. It covers PESTEL issues (political, economic, social, technology, environment and legal issues). LODRAT engages in community development through empowering the vulnerable group of the society.
These include research in public health, alternative medicine, SRH, health systems and policy analysis, surveys, disease mapping and surveillance. We endeavour to generate socially relevant data and interventions in health.
