Company Overview

At Local Development Research and Advocacy Trust (Lodrat) we declare that we are experienced, qualified and capable of handling research, capacity building, advocacy and consultancies of different sizes and complexity. We have a qualified team of professionals that are competent to deliver on assignments. From a skills perspective, we boast of having some of the most highly decorated practitioners in our field.

Lodrat has synergies with a number of non-governmental organisations, research institutions and universities across Southern Africa. These synergies allows us to work in many countries and deliver on all assignments regardless of location.

Lodrat is currently doing work on local democracy in Chiredzi Rural District and is partnering UDACIZA in Bikita District on community mobilization and civic engagement.

We strive to ensure that all our services are of world class quality. We value improving lives and resilience through research and advocacy.
